“I believe all of us come into this world with a uniquely prescribed soul journey. It takes courage to live it.”
I believe we never get just one chance to find our unique purpose in life. Embracing Second Chances, big and small, allows us the opportunity to live more fully, from our truth. I’ve applied this mindset in my own life to overcome numerous life challenges and thrive through multiple career transitions. My practice as a coach is directly informed by the experiential knowledge I’ve gained from courageously being willing to start over again and again, including after divorce.
I’m fearlessly committed to finding and using my voice to speak my own truth, and to help others find their own. Two decades of experience as an attorney and nonprofit advocate, combined with my intuitive gifts and skills allows me to seamlessly blend the intuitive and pragmatic to help my clients find their truth and use their voice with more authority and impact in the world.
I’m also a passionate believer that we each have a unique purpose here and its our responsibility to live it to the fullest. I am self taught and uses astrology as an intuitive tool to help my clients move beyond their patterns of self-defeating behavior and unlock their unique genius.
Evanston, Illinois is where I reside with my husband Tim, our blended family of five and our dog Blue. In my spare time you can find me near Lake Michigan, doing Crossfit or on a really good day combining all my passions for an international trekking adventure.
I am a professional speaker who uses my voice to inspire, empower and educate individuals and organizations. I’ve served as a media spokesperson, developed and led national trainings around leadership and empowerment and have spoken to thousands of leaders as a keynote speaker and presenter at numerous national conferences including: Independent Sector, the Chicago Foundation for Women, and the Kellogg School for Nonprofit Executive Education at Northwestern University.
We attract certain experiences into our life in order to gain specific self knowledge. It's a choice whether we accept these invitations as opportunities for growth or resist.
I believe everyone has a voice and it needs to be heard, especially when we are experiencing change. When we are silent we give away our power.
I believe change is both scary as hell and exhilarating.
I believe compassion makes the world go round and love is the most valuable form of currency we have.
I believe in “soulful pragmatism." That we are inherently spiritual beings with a powerful inner voice available to guide us. Our job as spiritual beings is to tune in and listen and then act.
In my coaching practice, I draw upon nearly twenty years of experience advocating for as well as teaching, speaking to and coaching social change organizations and their leaders about their power of leveraging their voice for greater impact and influence.
